Intro
There was a married couple named Michael and Augusta (nee Meiss/Maetz) Betz, who were both from Germany. They were married in New York. In fact, their fitst two children were born in New York. Michael and Augusta eventually made their way to Trenton, NJ. Michael and Augusta are relevant to my McCabe family history as their grandson, Albert H. R. Betz, married Alice Mary Morrissey, a great grandaughter of my great, great grandparents, Michael and Mary (nee Hewitt) Morrissey.
