Intro
There was a man named Bernard Campbell married to a woman whose maiden name was Catherine Burns. Bernard and Catherine are believed to have been from Co. Monaghan, Ireland. At some point in time Bernard, his wife, and his Ireland born children immigrated to the USA. After arriving in the U.S., the Bernard and Catherine (nee Burns) Campbell family settled in New York. The Bernard and Catherine (nee Burns) Campbell family is relevant to my McCabe family research effort as I have a DNA match to at least four of their descendants.

Immigration
Catherine (nee Burns) Campbell, wife of Bernard Campbell, immigrated to the U.S., together with her five Ireland born children. Catherine arrived at the port of New York, on board the S.S. Marathon, on August 1, 1851. I would think Catherine's husband, Bernard Campbell, traveled to the U.S. prior to Catherine and their Ireland born children.
