Margaret Connor/O'Connor's passenger info shows she traveled to the U.S. port of Philadelphia, PA. She sailed on the ship S.S. Noordland. The S.S. Noordland set sail from the port of Liverpool, England, on August 19, 1908, arriving at Philadelphia August 31, 1908. Margaret Connor/O'Connor, daughter of John and Catherine (nee Quillan) Connor/O'Connor, took her first step towards American citizenship by filing her Declaration Of Intention, in the common pleas court, in the city of Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey, on November 17, 1924. Margaret followed up on her U.S. citizenship process when, on August 29, 1927, Margaret filed her Petition For Naturalization with the Court of Common Pleas in the city of Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey.
