Intro
There was a couple named Thomas and Mary (nee McCabe) Connor/O'Connor that were living in the townland of Ummerafree, Co. Monaghan, Ireland, mostly in the mid to late 1800s. Thomas and Mary (nee McCabe) Connor/O'Connor are relevant to my family research effort as their daughter, Ellen Connor/O'Connor, married a man named Owen Larkin, who was an uncle of Mary Ann (nee Connor/O'Connor) Garvey, wife of Edward Garvey, the brother of my great aunt Marie (nee Garvey) Kernan. Owen Larkin was also the uncle of Margaret Connor/O'Connor, who became Sister Catherine Cecile, a Catholic nun. Owen Larkin accompanied Margaret Connor/O'Connor when she immigrated to the U.S. in August, 1908.
