James and Mary (nee McKenna) Finnegan were a married couple, living in the townland of Lisnaclea, in Co. Monaghan, Ireland, in the latter half of the 19th centry, with Mary (nee McKenna) Finnegan living into the 20th century. James and Mary (nee McKenna) Finnegan are relevant to my family research effort as they appear to be related to the Edward and Ellen (nee McCabe) Finnegan family, with Ellen (nee McCabe) Finnegan being a daughter of Peter and Catherine (nee Agnew) McCabe. Peter and Catherine (nee Agnew) McCabe were a set of 2x great-grandparents of my DNA cousins, John F. Sorli and John's sister, Maria T. Sorli.
