Michael Higgins, son of Michael (Mickey Bawn) and Catherine (nee Duffy) Higgins, and Mary Kate Coyle, daughter of William and Ellen (nee Coyle) Coyle, were married on August 4, 1898, in the Catholic Church in Four Roads, Co. Michael Higgins, husband of Mary Kate (nee Coyle) Higgins, was included in the 1901 Irish Census on a Form H, rather than being included on Census Form A, along with his wife and daughter. Census Form H was used to list people in a barracks. Keep in mind, Michael Higgins was a member of the RIC. So, apparently, he was counted at his work place, not his home.
