Intro
There was a couple named Daniel and Lucy (nee Murray) Lee living in Co. Kildare, Ireland, during the first half of the 1800s. Daniel and Lucy (nee Murray) Lee are relevant to my family research efforts as they have several descendants that have DNA connections to me.

Immigration
Daniel and Lucy (nee Murray) Lee made the decission to leave their native Ireland. Daniel and Lucy packed up their family and immigrated to the U.S. I am not certain of exactly when the Lee family immigrated. The Daniel Lee death certificate (see below) says that Daniel had been in the U.S. for 18 years when he died in 1869. If accurate, that would put the Lee family immagration at the year 1851.
