Intro
There was a couple named Patrick and Catherine (nee Quillan/McQuillan) Marron that are reported to have been living in the townland of Ummerafree, in the Carrickmacross area of Co. Monaghan, in the early to late 1800s. Patrick and Catherine (nee Quillan/McQuillan) Marron are relevant to my family research effort as Patrick and Catherine have at least three descendants with a DNA match to me, including Mary (nee Burns) Keenan, Therese Keenan, and Edward Marron.
