James Leighton Mason, son of James Leighton and Mary "Molly" Frances (nee Herdman) Mason, and Mary Loretta Conway, daughter of James and Bridget Delia (nee Smith) Conway, were married, June 30, 1908, in Newark, NJ, USA. James Leighton and Mary "Molly" Frances (nee Herdman) Mason are relevant to my family research effort as their daughter, Mary Frances Mason, married Herbert Peter McCabe, with Mary Frances and Herbert Peter McCabe being the paternal grandparents of Michie (nee McCabe) McCabe-Velardi and her brothers. Michie's brother, Matt McCabe, has, according to Ancestry.com, an autosomal DNA match to my DNA cousin, Berry McCabe, and to my 4th cousin, Sheila (nee Moore) McCoy.
