Intro
There was a man named John McCabe who appears to have been married to a woman whose maiden name was Mary Hand. John and Mary (nee Hand) McCabe are known to have lived in one of the Greaghwillin townlands, in Co. Monaghan, Ireland. I am not sure if they lived in Greaghawillin (Jackson) or Greaghawillin (Richey). Regardless, I know John and Mary (nee Hand) McCabe were living in one of the Greaghawillins in the early 1870. John and Mary (nee Hand) McCabe are relevant to my family research effort as they have descendants with DNA connections to the family of my distant cousin, Marie "Michie" Michele (nee McCabe) Velardi.
