Intro
There was a couple named Luke McCabe and Ellen (nee Carpenter) McCabe, who were both born in Ireland, in the early half of the 19th century. At some point, both Luke and Ellen made their way to the U.S. I don't know if they were married before arriving in the U.S. I am not sure if this Luke and Ellen (nee Carpenter) McCabe couple are relevant to my McCabe family research. I am including them here on my website since they were living in the same town as Peter and Mary (nee Halligan) McCabe, a couple known to have descendants that have a DNA match to my direct McCabe family line.
