Intro
There was a married couple named Peter O'Brien and Mary (nee McQuillan) O'Brien, living in the townland of Loughboy, in the civil parish of Mellifont, in Co. Louth, Ireland, in the late 1700s and early 1800s. I am not sure of where or when they were married. They are relevant to my McCabe family history as a descendant of theirs named Harry Hall and I have a DNA match indicating Harry and I are most likely 2nd - 4th cousins. Putting together a paper trail showing exactly how Harry and I match up has not yet been accomplished.
