A man named John Matthew Poyntz, and a woman named Sarah Harriet Kinney, were living as a married couple, in the latter half of the 19th century, with Sarah Harriet (nee Kinney) Poyntz living into the early part of the 20th century. John Matthew and Sarah Harriet (nee Kinney) Poyntz are relevant to my family research effort as they were the paternal grandparents of a woman named Jayne (nee Gonlley) Doherty, who, according to Ancestry.com, has an autosomal DNA match to me.
