Margaret Quinn, daughter of Laurence and Bridget (nee Clarke) Quinn, was born August 15, 1880, in Kilbrennan, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. I am not sure of why there is a difference between the child's name on the civil rgistration birth register record (Anne) and the child's baptism record (Margaret). I have chosen to go with the name Margaret from the child's baptism record. Laurence and Bridget (nee Clarke) Quinn alread had a daughter named Anne Quinn. Anne Quinn was reported born April 8, 1874. Also, I would think the baptism record may have been entered into the church register before the birth was reported to the civil authorities, considering the civil registration birth register shows the birth was not registered until the 21st of August, nearly a week after the birth.
