Marriage
Edward Rooney, son of James and Mary (nee McCabe) Rooney, of Tallanstown, Co. Louth, Ireland, and Catherine "Kate" Donohue, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (nee Leahy) Donohue, were a married couple living in New York, USA, during the latter half of the 1800s. Edward and Catherine "Kate" (nee Donohue) Rooney are relevant to my family research effort as, according to Ancestry.com, their granddaughter, Helen Rooney, has an autosomal DNA match to me.
