Bernard Trainor, son of Laurence and Catherine (nee Brennan) Trainor, was born May 1, 1880, in Drumgurra, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. I have obtained a copy of Bernard Trainor's civil registration birth register record, and his church baptism register record. Bernard Trainor was baptized in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. Bernard's baptism record says he was born May 25th. I believe Bernard's civil registration birth register record is more accurate than Bernard's baptism record which listed his birth date as May 25, 1880, instead of May 1, 1880. Bernard's civil registration birth register record shows his birth was registerd on May 10th, just nine days after his birth. I don't know why his baptism took place so long after his birth.
