Intro
There was a married couple named Thomas and Mary (nee Donaghey) Gartlan, apparently living in the townland of Lisdoonan, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. I do NOT know exactly where or when Thomas and Mary were married. I do know they were having children together around the middle of the 1800s. Thomas and Mary (nee Donaghey) Gartlan are relevant to my family research effort as they have a number of desendants who, according to Ancestry.com, have autosomal DNA matches to me and several members of my extended family.
