I don't know, at this time, Bridget's last name, or where and when James and Bridget were married. James' birth month and year were taken from the 1900 James Brennan and family information in the 1900 U. S. Federal Census for Omaha, Nebraska. James' reported age on the 1910 and 1920 U.S. Federal Census for Omaha, NE remained consistant with a Nov. 1843 birth date.
I have obtained copies of several U.S Federal Census records for James Brennan and his family, showing them living in Omaha, NE. You can access the Brennan U.S. Federal census selector page by clicking here.
The 1900 U.S. Federal Census shows James and Bridget had four children. The only child living at the time of the 1900 U.S. Federal Census was a daughter named Marcella. I have not been able to find any information on James and Bridget's other children.
James Brennan's wife Bridget died in June 17, 1903. She was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, in Omaha, NE. A Find A Grave memorial has been created for Bridget Brennan. To view the Bridget Brennan Find A Grave memorial, click here.
James Brennan died June 10, 1927. He was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, in Omaha, NE. I have obtained a copy of a death notice for James Brennan. I believe the notice appeared in the World Herald, a newspaper in the city of Omaha. To view a copy of the James Brennan death notice I have obtained, click here.
I have also obtained a copy of an article from the True Voice, a Catholic publication in Omaha, that talks about James Brennan's life and funeral. To view a copy of the True Voice article, click here.
