Mary Campbell

Intro
I have a Campbell ancestor that was in the Carrickmacross area of County Monaghan, Ireland. My earliest identified Carrickmacross area of County Monaghan, Ireland Campbell ancestor is my 3x great grandmother, Mary Campbell. Mary Campbell was probably born somewhere in the Carrickmacross area of County Monaghan, Ireland, probably sometime around the 1820s, plus or minus a few years either way.

The name Mary Campbell is listed on my great, great uncle, Lawrence Trainor's 1859 church marriage register entry, and also my great, great grandparents, Peter Kernan and Catherine Trainor's 1860 church marriage register entry. Mary Campbell is listed as the mother for both Lawrence Trainor and Catherine Trainor.

Note, the church marriage register records I have provided links to were written in Latin. Both records actually show Mary Campbell's first name as Maria. I try to consistantly use the anglicized form, thus my rendering of the name as Mary Campbell.

Marriage
Mary Campbell married a man named John Trainor.
