Note, the church marriage register records I have provided links to were written in Latin. Both records actually show John Trainor's wife's name as Maria Campbell. I try to consistantly use the anglicized form, thus my rendering of the name as Mary Campbell.

Background
My Trainor ancestors were from Co. Monaghan, Ireland. I have traced my Trainor ancestors to the small townland of Drumgurra, near the town of Carrickmacross. I have traced my individual Trainor family line back to my great, great, great grandparents, a couple named John Trainor and his wife Mary (nee Campbell) Trainor. I know of John and Mary (nee Campbell) Trainor through two of their children, their son Lawrence, and their daughter Catherine. The names John Trainor and Mary Campbell appear on the Catholic church marriage register records for the marriage of both Lawrence and Catherine.

Note, I try to consistently use the spelling T-r-a-i-n-o-r. I have seen various records using other spellings including Treanor, Traynor and others.
