Downie, son of George Edward, Sr. and Lynne Frances (nee Porsch) Downie, is listed, as a single person, in the 1910 through 1930 U.S. Federal census records, living in the state of Wisconsin, along with his parents and his siblings. A rather confusing note to the Downie census records is that both the 1910 and 1930 records lists a son, Richard A. Downie, while the 1920 census shows George and Lynne Downie with a son listed as Arthur R. Downie, instead of Richard A. Downie.
