John Dunne and Esther McCabe, daughter of Francis and Margaret (nee Morgan) McCabe, were married on June 21, 1924, in St. Mary's Catholic church, in Ulverston, Lancashire, England. I have obtained copies of the marriage index records for both John Dunne and Esther McCabe. John Dunne's marriage index record says that John married a woman whose last name was McCabe. It does not show John's wife's first name, but does say the marriage was in the district of Ulverston, and recorded on page 1950 of volume 8e.
