Additional Info
Lawrence and Katie continued living together, as husband and wife, in Camden, NJ, until somewhere around early 1907. About that time, Lawrence and Katie's marriage broke up. I am not sure of the exact circumstances of the break up. I do know a person named Job Applegate became involved in the life of my great grandmother Katie (nee Miller) Kernan. In fact, my great grandmother had three children by Mr. Job Applegate. Job and Katie certainly lived together in Camden, NJ.
World War I Service
I am not sure of how it came about, but it appears my great grandfather Lawrence Kernan wound up serving in the British Army during World War One. I have obtained, through my sister-in-law, Jan McCabe, a copy of a British Army Medal Card record for Lawrence Kernan.
