George Lauer, son of George and Catherine (nee xxx) Lauer, married Rose Anna Connley, daughter of Francis and Mary (nee Alfred) Connley. George and Rose appear to have been married about 1881. Their marriage date is from info from their 1910 U.S. Federal census record.

Philadelphia City Directories
I have done a search of various Philadelphia City Directories. I searched the directories for the name Lauer, as well as, the name Louer. I have posted several of the directory pages here on my web site. You may access my Lauer Philadelphia City Directories Selector Page by clicking here.
Note that the City Directories for 1879 and 1880 show both a George Lauer and a George Lauer, Jr. living at the 2213 Pemberton address. The George Lauer, Jr. entry shows George Jr. working as a glassblower. Also note, the profession of the George Lauer married to Rose Lauer in the 1900 U.S. Federal census record I have obtained is that of glassblower.
