Marriage
Peter McCabe, son of Francis and Margaret (nee Morgan) McCabe, and Ellen Munster were married on August 23, 1938, in St. John the Evangelist Catholic church, in Kirkdale, Liverpool, England. I have obtained copies of the marriage index records for both Peter McCabe and Ellen Munster. Peter McCabe's marriage index record says that Peter married a woman whose last name was Munster. It does not show Peter's wife's first name, but does say the marriage was in the district of Liverpool N., and recorded on page 1361 of volume 8b. It does not show Ellen's husband's first name, but does say the marriage was in the district of Liverpool N., and recorded on page 1361 of volume 8b. I am not aware of any children from Peter and Ellen (nee Munster) McCabe's marriage.

McCabe Death Info
I believe Ellen (nee Munster) McCabe, wife of Peter McCabe, died during the year 1951, in Liverpool, England. I have obtained a copy of an Ellen McCabe death index record. The death index record says that there was an Ellen McCabe that died in 1951, in Liverpool, N., the same location that appeared on both the Peter McCabe and Ellen Munster marriage index records cited on this web page under the 'Marriage' heading. The 1951 Ellen McCabe death index record says the Ellen McCabe that died in Liverpool, N., in 1951 was 66 years old. That would put Ellen (nee Munster) McCabe's birth at about 1885. The 1938 Peter McCabe and Ellen Munster marriage record listed Ellen Munster's age at 53 years old. That would put Ellen (nee Munster) McCabe's birth at about 1885. At some point after the death of his wife Ellen (nee Munster) McCabe, Peter returned, from England, to Co. Louth, Ireland. Peter McCabe, widower of Ellen (nee Munster) McCabe, died January 30, 1954, in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. I have obtained a copy of Peter McCabe's civil registration death record. Interesting to note the informant on Peter's civil registration death register record is a woman named Mary Cooney, listed as a neice of Peter. Well, one of Peter McCabe's sisters was Mary Anne (nee McCabe) Carberry. Mary Anne (nee McCabe) Carberry had a daughter whose maiden name was Mary Bridget Carberry, certainly making Mary Bridget a neice of Peter McCabe. On the 22nd of February, 1933, Peter's neice, Mary Bridget Carberry married a man named Peter Cooney. I feel quite comfortable thinking it was Mary Bridget (nee Carberry) Cooney that was the infomant on Peter's civil registration death register record. Notification of Peter McCabe's death appeared in the Irish Independent newspaper, published in the city of Dublin, on Monday, February 1, 1954.
