Francis McCabe
Son of James and
Margaret (nee Flynn) McCabe
Baptism
Francis McCabe, son of James and Margaret (nee Flynn) McCabe, was baptized July 26, 1840, per information I have obtained from the rootsireland database. To view a copy of the transcribed Francis McCabe baptism record I have obtained, click here.
This 1840 Francis McCabe is the only Francis McCabe baptism I have found in the parish of Dunleer, until the baptism of Francis McCabe, son of Francis McCabe and Margaret (nee Morgan) McCabe, which took place in the year 1885. I think it is safe to assume that the 1840 Francis McCabe, of James and Margaret (nee Flynn) McCabe, is the same Francis McCabe that married Bridget/Margaret Morgan. One might note that the address given is the townland of Cookspark and that Francis' god father was a man named Peter McCabe.
Note. The spelling used in the Irish Family History Foundation data base is not consistant. The actual data base spelling of the 1840 Francis McCabe's mother's first name is Margtt. I use the spelling of Margaret through out.
Francis McCabe most likely spent his youth growing up around the Dunleer area of Co. Louth.
Marriage
Francis McCabe, son of James and Margaret (nee Flynn) McCabe, married a woman named Margaret Morgan.
