Intro
There was a couple named Peter and Catherine (nee Garvey) McDaniel that lived in the small Irish townland of Corkashybane, in the Co. Monaghan civil parish of Magheross. Corkashybane is near the Co. Monaghan town of Carrickmacross. The Peter and Catherine (nee Garvey) McDaniel family of Corkashybane may be relevant to my family research as Catherine (nee Garvey) McDaniel was from the same little townland as Hugh and Anne (nee Markey) Garvey, keeping in mind Hugh and Anne (nee Markey) Garvey were my great uncle Jonh Kernan's in-laws.
Marriage
Peter McDaniel married Catherine Garvey, daughter of Owen and Alice (nee Ward) Garvey, on Jan. 13, 1887. I have obtained a copy of the Peter McDaniel and Catherine Garvey civil registration marriage record. The Peter McDaniel and Catherine Garvey civil registration marriage record says they were married in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. St. Joseph's Catholic Church was/is located in the town of Carrickmacross, in Co. Monaghan.
