Intro
There was a couple named Owen and Alice (nee Ward) Garvey that lived in the small Irish townland of Lisnafeddaly, in the Co. Monaghan civil parish of Magheross, in the early to mid 1800s. Lisnafeddaly is the same townland where my great, great grandparents, Peter and Catherine (nee Trainor) Kernan were from. Lisnafeddaly is near the Co. Monaghan town of Carrickmacross. The Owen and Rose (nee Connolly) Garvey family of Lisnafeddaly may be relevant to my family research effort, as Owen Garvey was from the same little townland as Hugh and Anne (nee Markey) Garvey, keeping in mind, Hugh and Anne (nee Markey) Garvey were my great uncle John Kernan's in-laws.
