I don't know why, but none of the Michael J. and Mary (nee O'Brien) Murphy family, including Marie, appear in the 1910 U.S. Federal census records for Philadelphia, PA. Marie is listed, living in the household of her aunt and uncle, David and Margaret (nee Murphy) O'Keefe, in the 1920 census. I don't know exaxtly when or why Marie went to live with her aunt and uncle. Marie is listed in both the 1930 and 1940 U.S. Federal census records, living in the same household as her sister and her brother-in-law, Leonora (nee Murphy) and Louis Bock.

Marie Murphy lived out her life in Philadelphia, PA. Marie was living with her sister Leonora (nee Murphy) Bock on July 8, 1955 when she passed away. I have obtained copies, through my sister-in-law, Jan McCabe, of both Marie Murphy's death record, and a Marie Murphy death notice that appeared in the local newspaper.
