There was Thomas Keefe/O'Keefe that was living at 419 N. Front street during the 1860 Federal census for Philadelphia, PA was apparently a child of the couple I refer to as old David and old Margaret Keefe/O'Keefe. If correct, that would make Thomas a great great uncle of mine, assuming I am correct about old David and old Margaret being the parents of my great great grandfather John O'Keefe. It appears that great great uncle Thomas most likely came to the United States some time in the early 1850s, settling in the city of Philadelphia, PA.

The exact birth date of Thomas Keefe/O'Keefe is not known at this time. Federal census records for Philadelphia, PA, from 1860 - 1870, put Thomas' birth date somewhere around 1839 - 1845 . Even though these documents have varying dates for great great uncle Thomas' birth date, they all indicate he was born in Ireland.
