This Patrick Finnegan household's census record, besides showing Patrick Finnegan, and Patrick's servant/farm laborer, Patrick Reilly/O'Reilly, also includes a Mary Finnegan, and two Mary Finnegan children, Edward and Ellen. Mary is listed as Patrick Finnegan's sister-in-law, with both of Mary's children listed as children of Patrick's brother. Well, it turns out there was a woman, whose maiden name was Mary McKenna, married to a man named James Finnegan. That James and Mary (nee McKenna) Finnegan couple were living in the townland of Lisnaclea, Co. Monaghan. Furthermore, the James and Mary (nee McKenna) Finnegan couple that was living in Lisnaclea had two children, a son named Edward, and a daughter named Ellen. Also note, the civil registration death register record for Mary (nee McKenna) Finnegan's husband, James Finnegan, shows a brother, Patrick Finnegan, as the informant.
