Marriage
Patrick Duffy, son of Patrick and Ellen (nee Boylan) Duffy, and Catherine "Kate" Ward, daughter of Bernard and Alice (nee McEneany) Ward, were married, probably around the year 1903, plus or minus a year or two, probably in euther Co. Cavan, or Co. Monaghan, Ireland. The Patrick and Catherine "Kate" (nee Ward) Duffy couple that I have become aware of is relevant to my family research effort as Patrick and Catherine "Kate" (nee Ward) Duffy's granddaughter, Noreen (nee McNamara) Ruede, according to Ancestry.com, has an autosomal DNA match to me, to Michie McCabe-Velardi and Michie's Uncle Peter. Patrick and Catherine "Kate" (nee Ward) Duffy's grandson, and their great grandson, both named Eugene Gartlan, according to Ancestry.com, has an autosomal DNA match to Michie McCabe-Velardi and Michie's Uncle Peter. My 4th cousin, Joan (nee McGuire) Rossillo, according to Ancestry.com, also has an autosomal DNA match to Eugene Gartlan. I'm just not sure which Eugene Gartlan Joan matchs.
