I have found the name Joseph Geortler in two Boyd's Directory of Salem and Gloucester Counties. One is for the year 1893 - 1894. The other is for the year 1899 - 1900. In the 1899 - 1900 directory, Joseph's last nasme is spelt Garteler. Regardless of that spelling, I am sure it is my great, great grandfather Joseph Geortler.
