Peter McCabe, the son of John and Betty (nee Miles) McCabe, was baptized in St. Brigid's Catholic church, in the town of Dunleer, in Co. Louth, Ireland, on March 31, 1811. Marriage
Peter McCabe was the name of my great, great grandfather, according to the death certificate of my great grandfather James P. McCabe. My great grandfather's death certificate also includes the maiden named of my great, great grandmother, Bridget Murphy. With the names of my McCabe great, great grandparents, I searched various records in Co. Louth, Ireland. From the Co. Louth records I found that on August 21, 1851 my great, great grandfather Peter McCabe married my great, great grandmother Bridget Murphy.
