Elieen Marie McCabe, daughter of John Nicholas and Winifred (nee Quinn) McCabe, was born in Arkansas, on November 21, 1929. Though born in Arkansas, Eileen spent most of her life in North Carolina. Eileen became a school teacher. In fact, Eileen McCabe became part of the Voices Of Ashville project. Eileen McCabe also published a book of poetry entitled Where Ancient Parrots Pray. At one point it was available for purchase on the web. You might find a copy, if you are determined to do so.
