James Peter McCabe, son of Peter and Bridget (nee Murphy) McCabe, married a woman named Catherine Morrissey, daughter of Michael and Mary (nee Hewitt) Morrissey, on May 26, 1889, in Philadelphia, PA. Note that on the marriage license application Catherine's last name was entered as Morrison. I'm not sure of why that is, though I am sure the posted record is the correct one. The marriage certificate, signed by the parish priest, properly shows Catherine's last name as Morrissey.
